We use Last.fm's listening graph, built from billions of real scrobbles across all music platforms. When many listeners play two tracks in the same sessions, those tracks score high on similarity. We then enrich each result with Spotify audio features (BPM, key, energy) so you get actionable data alongside the recommendations.
What if my track is not found?
Last.fm similarity works best for tracks with a significant number of listeners. If your track is very obscure or unreleased, it may not have enough listening data. Try a different spelling, the most popular version of the track, or use our Genre Finder tool instead.
Can I filter similar songs by BPM or key?
Yes. After results load, toggle the "Compatible Camelot keys only" filter to show only harmonically compatible tracks. Each result also displays its BPM and Camelot key as inline badges for easy scanning.
Does this work for underground or unreleased tracks?
